April 2012 Samples Update

Posted on 26 April 2012

It’s been quite a while since our last freebies roundup and since a number of excellent freebies have appeared over the past few months, here’s a look at our pick of the bunch throughout January to April.

One of the most popular samples seen during this time was the free pack of Finish Quantum dishwasher tablets. Originally 50,000 packs were available but these were snapped up very quickly indeed. In fact, so much so that Finish decided to launch another promotion and distribute an additional 50,000 to the eager public. It’s hardly surprising that this freebie was immensely popular. Where else could you find a free 10 tablet pack of dishwasher tablets completely free of charge?

Although not quite as impressive, the sample sachets of Minvita Baobab Powder also proved highly popular with visitors, perhaps due to the unique nature of the freebie. According to the accompanying literature, Baobab is a highly nutritious super fruit containing more antioxidants, minerals and vitamins than blackberries and other popular super fruits. Surprisingly, it also contains more Vitamins C then fresh orange juice, so needless to say, it’s very beneficial for your health!

L’Oreal have also been active distributing freebies over the past couple of months. The company has been running numerous competitions and giveaway promotions to help launch new product ranges. The Lumi Magique liquid foundation sample was a big hit with visitors and contained two sachets: Lumi Magique foundation and also Nude Magique, a blemish balm cream. Although not the most impressive freebie you’ll ever see, it was delivered quickly and en-mass to more than 70,000 UK residents.

More recently, we received a free sample of Nectar Sports Fuel Concentrate. This energy drink is designed by athletes for athletes and helps to energise and hydrate for increased performance during exercise. The liquid sachet was 50ml in size and contains concentrated liquid to be diluted in water. Rather than purchasing an energy drink directly off-the-shelf, Nectar’s Fuel System lets you customise the amount of Nectar added into your drink. The end result? A drink that’s tailor-made to your sport or fitness goals.

The Vaseline Essential Moisture sample was equally as popular, and being 50ml, is ideal for taking away on a short break thanks to its portable size. The product contained pure oat extract for multi-layered moisture and forms part of a range of three similar items from Vaseline.

It seems many people suffer from teeth sensitivity and Sensodyne’s latest offering was also among our more popular freebies. The sample of Rapid Relief is clinically proven to help relieve the symptoms of sensitive teeth. More specifically, it is intended to target pain immediately and works within 60 seconds of applying. Brushing twice-daily can significantly reduce symptoms - make sure you give it a try!

Received in February, the Good Whey Company delivered free samples of their whey protein formula. The box contained five sachets of whey protein, including chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, banana, and natural flavour. Ideal for helping with muscle growth and repair, Good Whey can be used for much more than just a simple drink. Try adding the powder to your baking, or as part of a delicious smoothie if you’re feeling a little more adventurous.

These are just some of the freebies we’ve recently received. Be sure to keep an eye out for new free samples by visiting freebielist.com regularly and subscribing to our free stuff newsletter.
