Complete Surveys, Earn Rewards

This blog entry was posted on: 25 April 2010.

A number of sites exist that offer up rewards when you complete surveys. If you enjoy answering questionnaires – and giving your opinion on a variety of topics - this could be something worth experimenting with. You never know, some Amazon vouchers, cashback or reward points could be winging their way to you!

It is market research companies behind such sites. They want to collect your opinions, likes and dislikes to help assist in the development of future product development. To be sure, the rewards aren’t huge, but many people find investing some time is well worth the effort.

Where can I start completing surveys?

A good place to begin is Global Opinion Panels from Synovate. The types of questions they’ll ask range from your shopping habits to favourite brands, so it’s not going to be a complete bore. They offer all participants entry into numerous prize draws, and you can also gain incentive points (redeemable for cash).

Another similar site, Ipsos is perhaps the most well-known. Not least because of the company’s connection of producing polls for elections (think “Ipsos MORI”). The rewards for participating in this scheme are similar to Synovate: points and prizes.

Toluna takes a slightly different approach and has more of a community feel. If you enjoy voicing your opinion and you’ve exhausted the above sites, try this. The more questions you answer, the greater number of points you’ll gain. These can then be exchanged for vouchers redeemable in stores such as Halfords, Homebase, Boots, etc.

A few other services to investigate include: Valued Opinions, Lightspeed Research, Great UK Surveys and Surveys.com.

Please note: It can sometimes take quite a bit of effort to see truly worthwhile rewards, but if it’s something you’re starting to enjoy, stick with it!
