The iconic music magazine NME is now free of charge and available to collect at a wide range of locations across the UK. There’s a new issue every Friday, packed with the latest music news, interviews with artists, album reviews, competitions, features, and more.

To find where you can pick up a free copy of NME Magazine, follow the link and then enter a town/city or postcode into the search box provided. You can also use the map and scroll/zoom as required to find nearby locations. Red markers indicate those locations where the magazine is distributed by hand. Black markers indicate pick-up points, such as shops or other outlets (often retail stores or music venues).

The publication, which was founded in 1952, had been suffering from a lack of sales over recent years. The free NME aims to bring new life into the magazine, while still retaining the unique insight and edgy reporting that made NME a music phenomenon.

Here, you can also download a PDF file detailing a full list of pick-up and distribution points across the UK. You’ll need a PDF reader to take advantage of this service. For more information and articles, head to the official NME website.
