TrafficFile
TrafficFile's "bronze" service is completely free and offers a reliable tracker that counts unique visitor totals for the last seven days. It is also invisible and fast-loading, which makes a refreshing change from the many free counter services that require you to place their advertisement on your pages. You'll also find some commercial packages here, should you wish to upgrade.

A free hit counter service that will track all kinds of Web page visitor information. By using CQ Counter, you can log the total number of visitors to your site, see which search engines draw in the most traffic and also what operating system and browser your visitors use. Besides, it's easy to install and includes many features. The service is restricted to 50,000 page views per month.
StatsMachine
An easy to install text or graphic counter with no advertisements or logos. Unlike other free counters and trackers listed in this section, the StatsMachine free counter does not collect any personal information from you (since there is no registration process).
