Offers free Web-based e-mail accounts with POP3 access and SMTP support. 15MB of storage space is included here, as well as virus scanning and spam filtering options. Lavabit
Lavabit offers two free POP3 e-mail packages, one with 128MB storage space, and another with 1024MB storage space. The 128MB account is completely free with no strings attached, whilst the 1024MB package is advertisement supported, but still free. They also provide virus protection on both accounts. If you require more storage space without the adverts, they offer this for a small annual fee.
