Specsavers Contact Lenses

Free Contact Lenses at Specsavers

If you want to try out contact lenses, Specsavers is a good place to start. At the UK’s leading high-street optician, you can claim a free contact lens trial, subject to a valid eye examination.

The process works as follows: visit your local Specsavers outlet or telephone to make an appointment for a contact lens assessment. The optician will then undertake a series of tests to see if your eyes are suitable for contacts.

After the initial examination has been done, you will be asked a number of questions, such as how often you intend to use lenses, the amount of time they will be worn, etc. Your answers will help the optician to determine which type of lenses to recommend.

The free trial usually begins once you can demonstrate your ability to confidently insert and remove the lenses.

Various plans are available, and after your trial has ended, you may order lenses by direct debit or on a ‘pay as you go’ basis.

Some examination fees may be required if you do not have a valid prescription.

If you encounter any issues with your recommended brand of contacts, the optician is able to suggest other suitable lenses to try.
